Diary: Ohhhh Espresso...How I Love Thee

The first of my quick entries in my diary...

So, after our trip to Italy and England for my 50th Birthday, we became obsessed with fancy coffee! For me, it was specifically Soy Lattes. We talked about buying a ridiculously expensive Espresso Machine when we got back. And then we didn't - nothing happened. We continued to drink our regular old Keurig coffee, still yummy, but not the same! Slowly you start winding down from that feeling and then?! You go on a cruise! And what do you order? (Well besides wine and champs)? FANCY COFFEE of course! Fancy coffee these days is fabulous, because being lactose intolerant, I can now drink fancy coffees outside of a Starbucks! Everyone has soy milk or some kind of lactose free milk!

So now, I'm getting spoiled drinking all these yummy soy lattes again! I get back and I'm like, screw it, I'm buying the Espresso Machine! I am typically an impulse buyer when it comes to these types of things. However, I did let this one and a few others sit in my cart for a day or two, before pulling the plug! And then I ordered it from Walmart! AND IT WAS DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE THAT NIGHT!! Wow, talk about instant gratification. Now, I am alllllllll about instant gratification...in fact, right now, I'm a little pissy, because my Amazon order for something totally different was suppose to be here yesterday (free one day shipping), and it's not, and I still have to wait until tomorrow. Le Sigh.

Anyways! Thank you Fairies for bringing my Espresso Machine in not just days, but just hours! And that's pretty much it, just wanted to say how happy I am to finally own an Espresso Machine...which will inevitably lead me to building a Coffee Bar!!! This will be happening very soon!

P.S. The first time I made a Double Latte in the very early morning before work...I not only made coffee, I made a mess. While screwing the portafilter into the machine, I grabbed the top of the machine to hold it steady and I pushed the Double Latte button by accident. Pictures for your pleasure. Ha!
